Ghostwriting Services

Your Story.
Your Voice.
Professionally Written.

You have a story that deserves to exist in the world - a memoir, a business book, a novel, a legacy to leave your family. What stands between you and that book is not the idea. It is the time, the words, and the craft of turning what you know into something that reads beautifully. That is what we do. Our professional ghostwriters work invisibly, capture your voice precisely, and deliver a manuscript that is unmistakably, completely yours.

Ghostwriting is standard practice in publishing

Countless bestselling memoirs, business books, and novels are written with professional ghostwriters. It is legal, ethical, and entirely standard - from celebrity autobiographies to business leadership titles to first-time authors. Your name on the cover means you own the story. A ghostwriter simply has the craft to tell it.

Is Using a Ghostwriter Really Acceptable?

It is the first question most people ask - and the one nobody wants to bring up. Here is the honest, direct answer.

It has been standard practice for centuries

Ghostwriting is one of the oldest professional writing relationships in existence. Political speeches, presidential memoirs, celebrity autobiographies, business bestsellers, and thousands of published novels have been written with professional ghostwriters. This is not a secret the publishing world hides - it is a standard, accepted practice at every level of the industry.

It is completely legal and entirely ethical

There is nothing legally or ethically problematic about hiring a professional to write your book. Copyright law allows the creator of a work - you - to be the legal author. The ghostwriter, like a film director's cinematographer or an architect's structural engineer, provides professional skill in service of your creative vision. Their name does not appear because the work is not their story.

The story is yours - the writing craft is theirs

A ghostwriter does not invent your story. They listen to it, understand it, organise it, and write it in a way that does it justice. The experiences, insights, voice, and ideas are entirely yours. The professional skill being hired is the craft of transforming those things into a manuscript that reads compellingly and professionally.

Most books involve more collaboration than readers realise

Traditional publishing involves developmental editors, copy editors, and writing coaches who significantly shape a manuscript. The line between "written alone" and "written with help" is far less clear than most readers imagine. What matters is that the ideas, perspective, and authority in the book are genuinely yours - and with ghostwriting, they always are.

The books you've read and admired may have had ghostwriters

Many of the most influential business books, memoirs, and bestsellers of the past two decades were written with professional ghostwriters. This is not a shortcut - it is a professional arrangement that exists because great ideas deserve great writing, and not every person with a story worth telling is also a professional writer.

Your Story Matters. Whoever You Are.

Ghostwriting clients are not one type of person. Here are the six most common situations - and the specific way professional ghostwriting serves each one.

The Business Leader or Entrepreneur

You have built something significant and have hard-won insights your industry needs to hear. A book establishes your authority, opens speaking opportunities, and creates a legacy that outlasts any company or campaign. The problem: you have no time, and your professional communication style is not the same as compelling narrative.

"I know exactly what I want to say. I just do not have the time or writing skill to say it the way it deserves."

The Memoir Writer

You have lived through something extraordinary - trauma, triumph, a remarkable career, a life that shaped the world around you. Your story deserves to be told, but writing it yourself means confronting it word by word, and the emotional weight can feel overwhelming.

"My story is important. I have been trying to write it for three years and I cannot get past chapter two."

The First-Time Fiction Author

You have a vivid story world, characters you know deeply, and a narrative arc that excites you. What you lack is the technical craft of fiction - pacing, point of view, dialogue, scene construction. A ghostwriter can take your fully-formed vision and produce the manuscript you have been unable to bring to the page yourself.

"The story is completely clear in my head. Getting it onto the page is the problem."

The Family Legacy Author

You want to preserve a family history, a grandparent's story, or a personal legacy for future generations - not as a journal, but as a proper book. This is often the most meaningful type of ghostwriting project.

"My grandmother's story should exist in a book. She is 87 and I want it finished while she can hold it."

The Subject-Matter Expert

You are a doctor, lawyer, therapist, financial adviser, or specialist with expertise that could genuinely help readers. Writing is not your profession - communicating your subject clearly to a general audience is a completely different skill from mastering your field, and a ghostwriter bridges that gap precisely.

"I know this subject better than anyone, but writing it accessibly is harder than expected."

The Author with a Draft That Is Not Working

You started. You have 30,000, 50,000, or 80,000 words - and you know they are not right. Structure problems, voice inconsistency, pacing issues, or a manuscript that does not read like the book you meant to write.

"I have a full draft. I just know it is not good enough. I need someone to fix it."

The Manuscript Must Sound Unmistakably Like You

1

The Discovery Interview

Before writing begins, your ghostwriter conducts a detailed interview session - not a questionnaire, a real conversation. We explore your story, your perspective, the language patterns you use, and how you naturally explain complex ideas.

Typically 2-3 hours across one or two sessions

2

Voice Samples & Reference Materials

We ask you to share existing writing - emails, speeches, social posts, previous drafts - plus published books whose tone you admire. These references calibrate the writer's understanding precisely.

The more you share, the more accurate the voice match

3

Chapter One - The Voice Test

Your ghostwriter writes Chapter One and submits it before the full outline is finalised. This is the voice test. If anything feels wrong, we adjust and rewrite before full manuscript work begins.

No charge for re-writing Chapter One until the voice is right

4

Ongoing Collaboration Throughout

Voice capture is maintained through chapter deliveries, scheduled check-ins, and an open feedback loop. You can redirect tone, vocabulary, and emphasis at any point.

Regular chapter deliveries with built-in feedback rounds

Why does voice capture matter this much?

A book that does not sound like you will fail when someone who knows you reads it. Whether this is a business book, memoir, or novel, the voice must be yours. This is where cheaper services fail by delivering generic prose.

  • Detailed discovery interview before writing begins
  • Voice sample analysis from your existing communication
  • Chapter One written and approved before full drafting
  • Regular chapter deliveries with built-in revision rounds
  • Scheduled progress calls throughout the project
  • Unlimited feedback at every stage - nothing moves without your approval

"When I read the first chapter back, it sounded exactly like me talking - my phrases, my rhythm, my way of building to a point."

Every Story Has a Form That Serves It Best

Our ghostwriters are genre specialists - not generalists who write everything the same way. Each type of book requires different skills.

Business & Leadership

Authority-building titles for entrepreneurs, executives, and specialists. We understand how to structure business books for credibility - frameworks, case studies, actionable insights - while keeping the narrative compelling for non-specialist readers.

Memoir & Personal Story

The most personal genre and the one that requires the most care. Our memoir ghostwriters understand how to handle sensitive material, how to structure a life story for maximum narrative impact, and how to make a personal experience resonate with readers who did not live it.

Self-Help & Personal Development

Books that help readers change their lives require a specific balance - enough authority to be credible, enough warmth to be approachable, and enough practical structure to be actionable. We write self-help titles that serve readers, not just the author brand.

Fiction & Narrative Non-Fiction

From genre fiction (thriller, romance, fantasy, literary) to narrative non-fiction that reads like a novel. Our fiction ghostwriters understand story architecture, character development, scene construction, and the technical craft that separates page-turners from manuscripts that do not get finished.

Expert & Professional Non-Fiction

Medical, legal, financial, scientific, and technical subjects written accessibly for general audiences without losing accuracy. We work with subject-matter experts to translate deep professional knowledge into books that non-specialist readers can engage with and apply.

Family History & Legacy Books

Preserving a family story, a grandparent's experiences, or a personal legacy in a form that will last. These projects are often among the most meaningful we take on - they require sensitivity, patience, and a genuine understanding of what the family wants to preserve.

From First Conversation to Finished Manuscript

A clear, collaborative process where nothing moves forward without your approval.

Step 1: Free Confidential Consultation
A private, no-obligation conversation about your book idea, your goals, and your timeline. We discuss your vision, answer questions honestly, and assess whether ghostwriting is the right approach for your specific project. NDA can be signed before this call if preferred.
Free - no commitment required
Step 2: Writer Matching & NDA Signing
We identify the ghostwriter from our network whose genre experience, writing style, and professional background best fits your project. You receive a writer profile and a formal NDA is signed before project details are shared.
2-5 days
Step 3: Discovery Interviews & Voice Capture
Your ghostwriter conducts structured interviews to understand your story, your voice, your perspective, and your audience. You share reference materials, existing writing, and books whose tone you admire. This stage sets the foundation for everything that follows.
1-2 weeks
Step 4: Chapter-by-Chapter Outline
Your ghostwriter develops a detailed outline - every chapter mapped with purpose, key points, narrative arc, and approximate word count. You review and approve the full structure before a single manuscript chapter is drafted.
1-2 weeks
Step 5: Writing Phase - Regular Delivery
Writing begins. Chapters are delivered in batches - typically two to three at a time - for your review and feedback before the writer continues. You are never asked to approve an entire manuscript in one sitting.
8-20 weeks (depends on length)
Step 6: Revision Rounds & Refinement
Once the full draft is complete, we conduct structured revision rounds and work through feedback systematically until the manuscript reflects your vision completely. We do not deliver as final until you are satisfied.
2-4 weeks
Step 7: Final Manuscript Delivery
You receive the complete, professionally formatted manuscript in your chosen format - ready for editing, design, and publishing. All rights transfer to you in full. The ghostwriter's name remains confidential.
Your book - completely, permanently yours

Your Privacy Is Absolute and Permanent

The confidentiality of our ghostwriting relationships is the foundation of everything we do.

NDA Before Any Discussion

A formal Non-Disclosure Agreement is available before you share any details about your project - even before the free consultation, if you prefer. It covers your project details, your identity as a client, the existence of our working relationship, and manuscript content.

We Never Reference Your Project

We do not reference your book in our marketing, portfolio, testimonials, or any public-facing communication without your explicit written permission. Your project does not exist publicly unless you choose to make it so. This applies permanently.

Your Files Stay Private

All project files, interview recordings, notes, drafts, and final manuscripts are stored securely and shared only between you and your ghostwriter. Files are deleted from our systems on completion unless you request backup retention.

Full Copyright Transfers to You

The ghostwriter holds no copyright in the finished manuscript. All intellectual property transfers to you upon final payment, as documented in the agreement. Your name as the author is the only name that appears on the book.

The relationship is confidential in both directions

Many clients worry that using a ghostwriter may become known. Our professional and contractual commitment is that we never disclose the existence of any ghostwriting relationship to anyone, under any circumstances.

Stories That Found Their Words

What working with a professional ghostwriter actually looked like - in the authors' own words.

AM

Andrew M.

Founder, SaaS company - Boston, USA

Business Leadership

I had been carrying the idea for my business book for six years. Six years of notes, of half-finished chapters, of knowing what I wanted to say but never being able to say it properly. Three months after starting with BookEunoia, I had a manuscript I was genuinely proud of. It sounds exactly like me - but better than anything I could have written.

CW

Catherine W.

Family memoir - Edinburgh, Scotland

Family Legacy Memoir

Writing my mother's story was something I needed to do but could not bring myself to finish. The emotional weight of going back through those memories, chapter by chapter, alone - I kept stopping. Working with a ghostwriter meant someone was there through the difficult parts. The book is exactly as it should be. I am grateful beyond words.

RN

Dr. Ravi N.

Physiotherapist & author - Toronto, Canada

Expert Non-Fiction

I am a physiotherapist, not a writer. I had the knowledge, the clinical experience, and the patient outcomes that I knew would help people - but every draft I wrote read like a medical journal, not a book anyone would pick up. My ghostwriter understood both the subject and how to make it human. The final book does exactly what I hoped it would.

Ghostwriting Questions. Honest Answers.

The questions every potential client asks before starting a ghostwriting project.

Yes - entirely and exclusively. You are the author. Your name appears on the cover, the copyright page, and all publishing platforms. The ghostwriter's name appears nowhere. Full authorship credit, full copyright, and full publishing rights belong to you from the moment the project is complete.

Through a structured voice-capture process that begins before a single word is written. We conduct detailed discovery interviews, analyse your existing writing, and write Chapter One as a voice test before proceeding with the full manuscript. We do not move forward until you hear yourself in the prose.

For a full-length non-fiction book (55,000-80,000 words), typically 4-6 months from discovery interview to final manuscript delivery. Shorter books can be completed in 2-4 months. Fiction varies depending on complexity.

Ghostwriting is priced per project based on word count, research requirements, and timeline. Full-length books typically range from $8,000 to $30,000+, depending on scope and writer experience. We provide a transparent, itemised quote after consultation.

Partial drafts are welcome. Many clients come with 20,000-50,000 words that are not working yet. We assess what is strong and work from it rather than starting from zero. This is often faster and less expensive.

Yes, within reason - and this is built into our process. The detailed chapter outline and staged review structure are designed to surface direction changes early and apply them cleanly.
